Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from Arusha and you will drive to Tarangire National Park. Once inside, you will begin your first game drive across the park’s open savannah and river valley areas.

Tarangire is famous for its elephant population, and you may also spot giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and predators that follow the herds. The baobab trees and wide landscapes make this park especially beautiful for photography.

Later in the afternoon, you will drive to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Main Destination: Tarangire National Park

Overnight: Midrange lodge/tented camp (outside or near the park)

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart toward Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro highlands, passing local villages and beautiful scenery.

As you enter Serengeti, the landscape opens into endless plains. You will enjoy a game drive as you continue toward your camp, watching for wildlife along the way. The Serengeti is known for large lion prides, cheetahs, leopards, and huge herds of grazing animals.

Arrive at your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Main Destination: Serengeti National Park

Overnight: Midrange tented camp inside/near Serengeti

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Start your day with an early morning game drive when predators are active and the light is best for photography. After breakfast, continue with a final game drive as you begin your journey toward Ngorongoro.

You will exit Serengeti later in the day and drive to the Ngorongoro area, arriving in time to relax and enjoy the cooler highland atmosphere.

Dinner and overnight near the crater rim or in the Karatu area.

Main Destination: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Overnight: Midrange lodge in Karatu / near Ngorongoro

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive then Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. The crater floor supports a high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and many bird species.

Ngorongoro is also one of the best places to try spotting the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch, you will continue your game drive before ascending the crater walls and driving back to Arusha, where your safari ends.
