7 Days Great Migration Calving Season Safari

Safari Overview

This 7-day safari is designed for travelers visiting Tanzania during the Great Migration calving season in the southern Serengeti and Ndutu region. Between December and March, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest gather on the short grass plains where they give birth to thousands of calves each day.

This concentration of prey attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards, creating some of the most dramatic wildlife interactions in Africa. Alongside the migration experience, you will also visit Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater for a diverse and unforgettable safari.
