8 Days Complete Great Migration Safari Experience
Safari Overview
This 8-day safari is designed for travelers who want a complete Great Migration experience while still enjoying Tanzania’s classic Northern Circuit highlights. The journey begins in Tarangire National Park and then moves into Serengeti, where you will explore both Central Serengeti and Northern Serengeti, the two key regions during the migration season.
During July to October, the herds move north through Serengeti toward the Mara River, where dramatic crossings often occur as thousands of wildebeest and zebras attempt to reach fresh grazing in the north.Â
This itinerary maximizes your chances of seeing migration movement by spending time in both central and northern Serengeti, while also including the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.
Best Time: July – October
