Day 1: Arrival in Arusha (Optional Pre-Safari Day)

Arrive in Arusha and transfer to your luxury lodge or hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the property or enjoy a gentle town experience. A safari briefing is provided to prepare you for the journey ahead.

Main Destination: Arusha (overnight)

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park and begin your first luxury safari game drive. Tarangire is famous for large elephant herds, classic savannah scenery, and giant baobab trees.

Your guide will explore key areas of the park, focusing on wildlife concentrations and predator activity. In the late afternoon, continue to your luxury lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro highlands. As you enter Serengeti, the landscape opens into vast plains, and you will begin a game drive en route to your luxury camp.

Serengeti is known for excellent predator sightings and big herds, with opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and vast numbers of grazers across the ecosystem.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drives in Serengeti

Today is dedicated to a full day in Serengeti. After breakfast, head out for a full day game drive with time to explore key wildlife areas.

Your guide will track animal movement and focus on the most active zones, which may include kopjes for lions, open plains for cheetahs, and river areas where wildlife gathers. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before beginning the journey to the Ngorongoro area. The drive is scenic, transitioning from open plains to cooler highlands.

Arrive in the afternoon and relax at your luxury lodge near the crater rim or in the surrounding highland area, preparing for an early crater descent the next morning.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a luxury game drive experience. The crater floor is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and abundant birdlife.

With luck, you may spot the rare black rhino. After the game drive and a picnic lunch, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha where your safari ends.
