Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from Arusha followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. After entering the park, you will begin a game drive through landscapes dotted with iconic baobab trees and open savannah.

Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. During your game drive you may encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, and several species of antelope.

In the late afternoon, you will drive to your semi-luxury lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with scenic views of the highlands before descending into the famous Serengeti plains.

Once inside Serengeti, you will enjoy a game drive while heading toward your accommodation. The park is home to abundant wildlife including lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest.

Dinner and overnight will be at a semi-luxury tented camp in Serengeti.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

Today you will spend the entire day exploring Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, you will head out for a full day of wildlife viewing across the vast plains.

Serengeti offers excellent opportunities to see predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as large herds of grazing animals. Depending on the season, you may witness parts of the Great Migration as thousands of wildebeest and zebras move across the ecosystem.

Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before beginning your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

As you leave the Serengeti plains behind, the scenery gradually changes into the lush highlands surrounding Ngorongoro. You will arrive in the afternoon and settle into your semi-luxury lodge where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Dinner and overnight near the crater rim or in the Karatu area.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater floor hosts an incredible variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and many bird species.

Ngorongoro also offers one of the best opportunities to see the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, you will continue the game drive before ascending the crater walls and returning to Arusha where your safari ends.
