Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

In the morning, your driver-guide will pick you up from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park’s open savannah and river areas where wildlife gathers, especially during the dry season.

Tarangire is famous for large elephant herds, but you may also spot giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, and a variety of antelopes. In the afternoon, you will continue to your semi-luxury lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro highlands, offering scenic views and a sense of Tanzania’s changing landscapes.

As you enter Serengeti, the plains stretch wide and open. You will enjoy a game drive on the way to your accommodation, watching for wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and predators. Arrive at your semi-luxury camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drives in Serengeti

Today is dedicated to exploring Serengeti’s wildlife-rich areas. After breakfast, head out for a full day game drive with time to follow animal movements and explore different habitats.

You may find lions resting on kopjes, cheetahs scanning the grasslands, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra grazing across the plains. Depending on the season, your guide may focus on areas with higher chances of migration sightings.

Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Another Full Day in Serengeti

With a second full day in Serengeti, you have more freedom to explore further and stay longer where wildlife activity is strongest. Your guide will tailor the day based on sightings, weather, and seasonal wildlife movements.

This extra day increases your chances of seeing key predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as memorable wildlife interactions around rivers, kopjes, and open plains.

Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This day blends wildlife viewing with a scenic drive as the landscape shifts from open plains to lush highlands.

You will arrive in the Ngorongoro area in the afternoon and relax at your semi-luxury lodge, ready for an early start the following morning.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater floor is home to an impressive concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and many bird species.

Afterward, continue to Lake Manyara National Park for a shorter game drive. Lake Manyara is known for its lush groundwater forest, large troops of baboons, and beautiful lake scenery. In the afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha, where your safari ends.
